Abstract:In order to understand the development of garden-themed cultural and creative products, and to explore creative transformation and innovative development approaches in the protection and utilization of traditional garden cultural heritage, this study employs bibliometric analysis to examine the research literature on garden-themed cultural and creative products from the CNKI database. Using CiteSpace software, relevant visual knowledge maps were generated to summarize the current development status, research hotspots, and trends in this field. The results indicate that research primarily focuses on three aspects: the development of garden-themed cultural and creative products based on regional culture, the design of such products, and the development of models and approaches integrating culture and tourism. However, the potential for developing products based on traditional garden culture remains underexploited. It is necessary to strengthen the integration between exploring the cultural connotations and ancient ecological wisdom of traditional gardens, and the development of cultural and creative products. Accordingly, suggestions are proposed for the design and development of garden-themed cultural and creative products, including enhancing collaborative research, optimizing development mechanisms, and incorporating garden design.
