Abstract:The construction of China's national park system is in a critical period where institutionalimprovement and high-quality development advance in parallel. A rational assessment ofrecreational resources serves as the core link between ecological protection, utilization, anddevelopment. This study takes the Wangxia Township area under the Bawangling Branchof Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park as the research object. Starting from the basicconnotation of national parks, and integrating the ecological-economic-social developmentsystem and the AVC theory, it constructs an evaluation framework from three levels:the functional value of individual resources, the combination efficiency of aggregatedresources, and the management and development value of regional units. The frameworkcovers 3 target layers, 7 comprehensive layers, and 18 factor layers. The analytic hierarchyprocess (AHP) is used to evaluate the resources in the region, and finally 1 individualresource at the excellent level, 27 individual resources, 8 resource aggregates and 5 regionalunits at the good level, as well as 15 individual resources and 4 resource aggregates at thegeneral level are identified. Based on the evaluation results and combined with typical caseanalysis, optimization directions of dynamic immersion, comprehensive hub, and linkagedevelopment are proposed for the three types of resources (individual, aggregated andregional) respectively.
