Abstract:In order t o fully exploit the plant germplasm resources suitable for the eastern part of the first phase of Haizhu National Wetland Park, this study investigated 103 newly introduced plants species. The Analytic Hierarchy Process was employed to construct a comprehensive evaluation system for the newly introduced plants. Comprehensive evaluation was carried out based on three criterion levels, namely ornamental value, ecological adaptability, and development and application value, as well as 16 aspects as evaluation indicators. The results showed that ecological adaptability had the highest weight, followed by ornamental value, and development and application potential. The ecological adaptability is the most important, which is consistent with this research's goal of emphasized the collection, cultivation and screening of wetland plant resources. Through analysis and calculation, the 103 newly introduced plants have shown good adaptation in Haizhu Wetland and are categorized into 4 grades, including 32 plants of grade Ⅰ and grade Ⅱ , with good ecological adaptability and ornamental ability and high application value.
