Abstract:Urban parks serve as crucial venues for residents daily recreational and leisure activities, representing a significant manifestation of public well-being, and their accessibility should maintain a relatively equitable and reasonable status. To evaluate the rationality of park and residential distribution in Tai'an City, this paper used CAD to obtain built-up area data of residential land and different types of parks in the old urban area and development zone of Tai'an City from 2015 to 2023 across multiple spatial and temporal scales, calculated the uniformity and green space rate within the park service radius at different time periods, and explored the fitting relationship between the uniformity and green space ratio using Excel and SPSS data analysis software. The results indicated that both the green space ratio and uniformity in Tai'an City's old urban area and development zone demonstrated upward trends, reflecting favorable development in overall greening construction. Furthermore, increases in green space ratio can improve uniformity to some extent, but the degree of coupling between their growth trends remains low. The uniformity index is more constrained by housing construction and park distribution location factors. In the future development of park construction, the old urban area can promote the systematization of pocket park networks, continuously increase the density of park distribution, and the development zone can utilize spatial and resource advantages to promote the construction of characteristic parks.
