广州园林博览会于1994 年开始举办，其30年的发展历程可分为3个阶段：1）起步创新阶段（1994—2003年），不断摸索前行，艺术园圃受到国内行业的高度关注；2）持续成长阶段（2004—2016年），展会内容、形式及技术日趋成熟，主题带动性强，引领城市园林绿化发展潮流；3）融合发展阶段（2017年至今），主题鲜明，尝试园林艺术与多元文化的跨界与创新，增加国际元素，促进大湾区生态一体化建设。广州园博会弘扬岭南园林及中国传统文化，引领园林行业发展方向，融入城市建设，促进园林绿化技术进步，关注民生及科普，促进大湾区行业交流与合作，不断拓展园林博览领域及国际影响力，助力培养专业技术人才，品牌的社会效益显著。

Abstract:

Guangzhou Garden Expo was held in 1994. Its 30-year development process can be divided into three stages. First, in the initial stage (1994—2003), the Art Garden had received high attention. Second, in the stage of continuous growth (2004—2016), the content, form and technology of the exhibition became more mature, and the theme had a strong driving force, leading the trend of urban landscaping. Third, in the integrated development stage (2017 to now), the exhibition with distinctive themes, carried out the cross-border and innovation between landscape art and multi-culture, added international elements, and promoted the ecological integration construction of the Great Bay Area. Guangzhou Garden Expo carries forward Lingnan landscape and traditional Chinese culture, leads the development direction of landscape architecture, integrates urban construction, promotes the progress of garden greening technology, focus on people's livelihood and science popularization, promotes exchanges and cooperation in the Great Bay Area, continuously expands the field of landscape expositions and international influence, and helps cultivate professional and technical talents. Its social benefit is remarkable.
